The Kings of Indigo Gwendolen is a cropped dry denim jacket, resembling a 1940's military battledress jacket. The waistband has button closure and straps at the back. This makes the jacket have a wider shoulder, and then goes in at the waist to create a silhoutte. The pleats above the cuffs create a puffed sleeve. It also has overlocked seams at the inside of the sleeve. This a dry denim, meaning it has not been treated with chemicals. This gives the jacket an initial rigid feel, but with wear it will loosen and the wearer's own imprint will give the jacket character.
