Vintage midcentury Japanese firemans jacket. Made from a thick sashiko fabric, and featuring a waistband. This sashiko-woven fabric was specifically made for Japanese firefighters because of its durability. It would be soaked in water before going into the fire.
The jacket shows signs of wear (fading, scratches) which add to the beauty of it. In great condition for it's age.
