Founded by a husband and wife team, Story MFG – short for ‘manufacturing garments’ – fuses fashion and activism. The production team is made up of ethically paid craftspeople including tailors, dyers and weavers based in an atelier deep in the Indian forest where any waste is used as fertiliser. They combine new and traditional techniques along with organic, natural fibres to create sustainable and cruelty-free vegan clothing that is 100% biodegradable after use. The creatively-named collections offer timeless styles with a utility slant and the materials are designed to enrich both the skin and soil.
