Levi's made in USA 1960's big E 557 jacket.

The early 1960's 557 model, with bigger neck label (this tag was made smaller on the later versions of Big E type III jackets), is the first version of the type III jacket, and has a slightly boxier fit than the later models. Some early features that changed on later models are the orange / lemon yellow stitching, and the yellow bar tack stitch underneath the pocket-flap. The color of the bartack was changed to be more in tone with the denim fabric on later versions. This jacket has some amazing clouded like fading throughout. D-stamp on the buttons, and most of the 557 label still intact.
