The bookcase has shelves on either side. Dark wood, very typical for this era. Has the original velvet like upholstery.Few loose buttons that should be restrung.This piece of furniture is in nice condition for it's age. The wood has a few water stains/spots here and there, but has been treated professionally with furniture oil to make it shine again. Works wonderful as a roomdivider too.
