This deadstock Tarzam 'soap' bar is a Portuguese linguistic version of "Tarzan" and, at the same time, a national interpretation of the "Monkey Brand Soap".
c. 1930s

It features and amazing graphic of a "King Kong" like figure. Tarzan and King Kong were both popular movies from the early 1930's (1932 & 1933). The packaging mentions in portugese that it's a 'domestic soap for Polishing and Cleaning", and in the instructions for use says it is used for cleaning glass or shining metals.
